About the Film Lana (played by 2025 WRFF Best Actress Award winner Sarah Lee) longs for uninterrupted time to write her screenplay, yet finds herself mired in the daily grind of producing university lecture videos. When cinema and reality collide—quite literally—her fictional world crashes through the ceiling and into her life, sparking a witty and comic deconstruction of art, labor, and ambition. Writer-director Alex Zajicek draws on his own experience to craft a smart, funny, and quietly thoughtful dramedy that will resonate with anyone who’s ever tried to make art while paying the bills.
