Over the course of four 90-minute sessions, cohort members will learn:

  • How to keep your website's structure simple
  • Working with fonts, images, and video
  • Building simple contact forms
  • Tips for creating sites that are fun to look at--AND easy to navigate!
  • Getting found online: the basics of search engine optimization

Is this workshop right for you?

This is a good fit for people who...

  • Would like to create an online portfolio to showcase artwork, a hobby, or a professional skill
  • Can perform basic tasks on a desktop or laptop computer (can use a mouse/trackpad, know how to create and save a document, can setup and use their own email account, can make a purchase online, etc.)
    • If you cannot perform these tasks, check out our Teens Teach Tech events on 2nd and 4th Saturdays to learn these skills first!
