Event Details
Join us to sip some delicious teas from around the world! Whether you’re a seasoned tea drinker, are looking for a new hobby, or wish to reduce your caffeine intake, this gathering is for you.
Join Kai for a mini workshop where you will be introduced to his favorite black, green, oolong, white, and puer (fermented) teas. All are pure, loose-leaf, unflavored, single-origin teas. We’ll experience a wide range of flavors that can be coaxed from the tea plant (Camellia sinensis): sweet, earthy, grassy, fruity, chocolatey, malty, floral, bitter, astringent, and even creamy. Kai will show you various ways of steeping tea, and share info about where to buy quality tea.
Note: All teas we’ll be drinking contain varying amounts of caffeine, so plan accordingly.
