Starting with Computers

This two part class will take place on the 17th and 24th. If you've missed the course or weren't able to enroll, the class will be offered again in July. 
This is the Starting with Computers Class. There will be 4 laptops prepared and particpants will be working in teams of two.

Day one of the class will cover the basics of what a computer is, what certain plug ins are, how the internet works, and basic terminology that is expected in be known in the world. We will also cover how to plug in devices like USB sticks, Printers, Internet cables, memory sticks, and how to access them on the computer. Each class will be approximatly 40-60 minutes and will allow for an additonal 30 minutes of Q&A time after the class. 

Day two of the class will cover how to safely use the internet. How to open an email account and how to utilize your email account. The class will also cover virus protection and how to safely search the internet and how to protect your information. As with the previous day, it will be approximatly 40-60 minutes and will allow for an additonal 30 minutes of Q&A time after the class.
