 tive and medicinal plants that reside within it—including some medicinal
  teas that can be made using some of the plants!About the presenters: Mar
 garet Arias is the Tribal Resource Specialist for the Habitat &amp; Wildli
 fe Division of Tolowa Dee-ni&#039; Nation. She is a Tolowa Citizen of Tolo
 wa Dee-ni&#039; Nation and grew up involved in the Culture. She helps mana
 ge the Tribes Native Plant Nursery and local restoration projects. She has
  been employed with Tolowa Dee-ni&#039; Nation for 21 years; most recently
  I transferred to Natural Resources from our Tribal Gaming Agency. She is 
 a hobbyist experience in Horticulture, and working knowledge of Native pla
 nts.Jeff Mathison is the Tribal Resource Technician for the Habitat &amp; 
 Wildlife Division of Tolowa Dee-ni&#039; Nation. He is a Tolowa Citizen of
  Tolowa Dee-ni&#039; Nation and helps manage the Tolowa Dee-ni&#039; Natio
 n Native Plant nursery. He wears many hats and offers a helping hand where
 ver he is needed as he has a lot of knowledge to share.Elena Sisneros is t
 he Habitat &amp; Wildlife Division Manager for Tolowa Dee-ni&#039; Nation.
  The Stlh-xat-dvn (Habitat &amp; Wildlife Division) focuses on research, 
 data collection, traditional knowledge, best available science, and partne
 rships to inform restoration, adaptation, and active stewardship, on a lan
 dscape level, to land, plants, and wildlife within Taa-laa-waa-dvn (Tolowa
  aboriginal territory). The goals of this division include the following:P
 rotect the legal right for Tribal hunting and gathering.Habitat restoratio
 n and adaptation through the gathering of baseline and/or monitoring data 
 on priority species, related habitats, indicators, and human uses.Increase
  access to high-quality traditional food and utilitarian plants.Develop ca
 pacity for fuels reduction workforce, prescribed &amp;amp; cultural burnin
 g, and forest health improvement
