Older school-aged kids are invited to drop into the Youth area between 1:30 and 3:30 on Wednesdays and grab a free snack, engage with our creation stations, catch up on homework, or just hang out and curl up with a good book.

This fun and exciting book club is perfect for tweens and young teens who love diving into stories and exploring new worlds through a variety of novels.

Dust off your traditional acoustic instruments and join in on the fun. Or just come and listen and sit for a spell. 

Older school-aged kids are invited to drop by the Youth area at 4:00 on Thursdays to grab a free snack and engage in a regular rotation of guided activities, including LEGO builds, board games, art projects, and STEM activities. 

A free monthly film screening for the community, our Afternoon Indie Film events will frequently feature top film selections from the Wild Rivers Film Festival and include Q&As or community discussions after many film screenings.

Our weekly Storytime features picture books, songs and puppets. Afterwards, join us for a simple craft and "stay and play!"

Our tween club is for kids ages 10-13. Kids 10 and older can be at the library without a supervising adult. Please see Brenna at your first attendance to offer some basic contact information.

The Kids' Book Club meets every 2nd Wednesday of the month to select, read, discuss, and enjoy activities relating to books that are written for children of elementary and middle school age.

Join March’s featured gallery and display case artist Dave Christie for an Art Walk Open House! The library will serve light refreshments between 3:00 and 4:30pm.

Each month April through October, gardeners are welcome to bring in a sample of their ailing plants and receive guidance and care tips from volunteers with OSU's Master Gardener™ Extension Program!

The Chetco Library Board of Directors will hold their regular monthly meeting every 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6pm in the library's Forest Room. 

Join Oregon State University Associate Professor Stephani Polizzi for a free monthly community class on health, nutrition, and wellness. Bring a brown bag lunch and a friend!
